Kristin Holland: Administration
Kristin was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She moved to Pinehurst 4 years ago. She graduated from Montgomery Community College in 2014 as a Dental Assistant.
Kristin spends most of her time playing with her Golden Retriever, Mason. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her fiance’, her family, and her Golden. Her hobbies include traveling and photography.
Casey West: Administration
Casey attended Montgomery Community College and graduated with a dental assisting degree. She is a DAII and has worked front desk at Bhat and Associates since May of 2015. Casey currently lives in Biscoe, North Carolina. She spends all of her free time with her two sons, Benjamin (4) and Jackson (3 months). Her hobbies include: shopping, going out to eat, and spending time with family and friends. Casey’s favorite part about working at Bhat and Associates is being able to build relationships with each patient.
Rosa Cerna: Hygienist
Rosa was born in El Salvador. At the age of thirteen, she and her family moved to Sanford, NC where she grew up and graduated from Lee County High School. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College with an Associate’s in Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2014. Rosa enjoys going to church and spending time with her family and friends.
Maria Lee: Dental Assistant
Maria Lee is a resident of Southern Pines, NC. She has been a dental assistant for twenty four and a half years, and has met many wonderful people during those years. It’s so rewarding to know that you can change someone’s outlook on life with a smile!
She and her husband, Ren, have four children and fourteen grandchildren! She enjoys being MA-ria to my grandchildren and other children! When I’m not spending time with family, she is assisting her husband at church. He is the pastor of a church in Aberdeen, NC. The wife of a pastor has many responsibilities, but she still manage to be involved in my community. She is a member of The Community Helpers of West Southern Pines, The WSP Civic Club, a precinct worker for The Board of Elections, and a volunteer with other organizations.
Shelby Parrott: Hygienist
Shelby was born and raised in Carthage, North Carolina. She attended Central Carolina Community College where she received an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She intends to pursue a Bachelor’s degree through UNC Chapel Hill.
Shelby spends much of her free time with her two nieces and nephew. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading and scrapbooking.
Ovi Trask: Practice Manager
Ovi and her husband Bert have called Pinehurst home for the past 16 years although both were born and raised in Richmond County. Ovi has
15 years of office management experience and loves her position with Bhat and Associates. Her hobbies are reading and cooking but the thing she loves most is spending time with her family. She has 2 sons who live in Southport NC with their wives and children. When Ovi and Bert visit Southport, they love taking the grandchildren, Nate 7 and Scarlet 4 to walk on the beach to look for shells and to Bullfrogs (a great little toy shop). Suellen who is 5 months isn’t old enough to enjoy this yet but will soon!
Gail Hoskins: Dental Assistant II
Gail was born in Virginia but grew up in Fayetteville NC. She graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College with a dental assisting degree. Gail is a DA II and brings 25 years experience to Bhat and Associates. Gail resides in Sanford NC with her daughter Laura and 4 dogs, Bo, Buffy, Mia and Tyson. Gail’s hobbies are walking her dogs and work.
Tina McCaffrie RDH
Tina was born in Tennessee, but grew up in Georgia. She and her husband Mike moved to Southern Pines, NC last year. She has been a hygienist for over 15 years and graduated from Columbus Technical College in Columbus, GA. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family, reading, antiquing and crossfit. She is a animal lover and has two dogs, Bodhi and Gemma.
